Slate’s IT Services focus group is dedicated to serving clients within 3 main areas:
Software and Hardware Vendors. We are working with software and hardware vendors as clients in order to help them expand their business in Japan. Example positions we’ve worked on in this area include Senior Sales and Pre-sales Engineers, Consultants and Marketing personnel.
System Integration, Digital and IT Consulting. We are working in tandem with global leaders in IT Systems Integration, Digital Services and IT Consulting. These companies encompass a wide variety of industries and technologies including: insurance, financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and automotive among others. Within this discipline we have supported hiring for positions from software developer, tester, pre-sales personnel, project manager and director.
Multi-market IT support. We source direct hires for major foreign capital companies in the fields of insurance, e-commerce, pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive, manufacturing and energy. In these domains, we place Applications Managers, Networking Managers, IT Managers and IT Directors

Cloud-Based Vendor
A cloud-based content vendor had recently opened its Japan office and had already hired its Head of Presales and Head of Sales for the Media markets. We were asked to fill 2 positions: Head of Sales for the Finance Market and Head of Sales for the Life Sciences Market. It took some extensive market mapping but eventually we helped the client identify 2 successful candidates who later joined and played an integral role in the company’s growth in Japan.
